IBC Students 180 strives to engage Middle and High School students with the gospel of Jesus Christ for their salvation, and equipping them to be sanctified and sent to serve Christ and His Church.
We pursue this through rooted dependence on God’s Word in deep, enriching Bible study, allowing Scripture to build up their faith for a life of obedience—to one another, to the world, and ultimately to God.
"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." (Colossians 2:6-7)

Note to Parents:
At IBC Students 180, we are excited to partner with you in the spiritual growth of your teenagers. Our youth ministry exists to serve both your family and the broader community with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our Two Core Priorities
- Supporting and supplementing parents in raising their children in the faith We believe Scripture clearly teaches that parents are primarily responsible for the spiritual instruction and discipleship of their children (Deuteronomy 6:6–7; Ephesians 6:4). Our ministry exists to come alongside you. We never aim to substitute for your role, but to strengthen and encourage it.
- Reaching students (and their families) who do not yet know Christ We rejoice that many of our students come from gospel-centered homes, but we also recognize that not every teenager has the blessing of parents who faithfully present the gospel. For those students—and often their entire families—we intentionally proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ alone, inviting them into the family of God and providing the biblical equipping they may not receive elsewhere.
Whether your teen is growing up in a strong Christian home or is hearing the gospel clearly for the first time through our ministry, our prayer is the same: that they would trust Christ for salvation, grow in holiness, and joyfully serve Him as active members of His Church.
We are here to serve you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions, prayer requests, or ways we can better partner with your family. You can do so by contacting pastor Ryan and ryanr@ibcbellingham.org
